Wishes

I wish             I could read every book ever written

I spoke every language on earth

                            I lived everywhere at once

I could touch every living thing

Sometimes

                            I feel

as though I were every living thing

                            in the world

                            from infinity

I wish             I could know

                            if I am God

I can totally empathise with the first stanza - not sure I get the last two - or maybe I'm not a very soul searching type. I would agree that it is deep, well constructed and thought provoking.

Cynthia -- every Hindu would tell you -- you are; always; and you could if you wished !

A fine thought.

Beautiful. Profound. Complicated with simplicity.
