Yes. Telling people things is a very good way to get out your feelings. Especially telling people you don't really know.

Hi Claire. I've only just joined the site after writing poetry for years hidden away from family and friends inside a leather bound book. Have recently decided to open up my amateur but very honest work to the world. Have you found opening up to the world to be a good thing?

on my old account, where i went by the name of "Anonymous Please", the sample of my work that i used was completely just me letting out my feelings. the best part was that no one knew who i was, even my name, though i am happy to share that information now.
