Hockey game

I'm sitting down with beer, and a meal on my lap
Enjoying the hockey, on my lazyboy chair
My blue and white playing against rival affair
As the puck drops on ice, I'm nervous for first scrap

My team won the first fight, but the rivals scored first
Plenty of time remains to equalize the game
But I scream at tv as the ref calls a lame
Powerplay, down by two, end of first, beer for thirst

Forty minutes are left, and they put on display
The young talents break free, and now trail by just one
They play well to the point, but no tie anyone

The rivals keep their cool, and I scream loud and spray
The last straw was a call, that should have come our way
I throw my beer at it, breaking my screen's relay
