A verse to light or lunar ode
Did I just see a shooting star or was that a fire fly?
Whatever glory brightness lies
light up my flippant lustful skies
and tearing thoughful feeling buys
a little time as we grow wise
We are but ageing sage brush squanderers
and in each shallow breath we grow
were meerly but fitfull moonlight ponderers
and with the fire burn we flow
Did I just see a shooting star or was that a fire fly?
We, deep gnarled roots rainwater
and the dust filled aqua eyes
my silver recolection breeze
me past unseasoned tides to
delve demise and heavy sighs
and glistening emerald thighs
We, eternity weathered souls with
puckish youthful frolic flies
water fracticity bring light
embellish my reflection shadow minds
Did I just see a shooting star or was that a fire fly?
In my sweet earthly
green air din
A nightly luminous
thought wheel spins
