cheers guys. its very (very) loosely based on a song called Bill McKay by a scouse band called The Coral. a jangly little number about a man that reminisces about his childhood days during his long commuted home then commits suicide. quite downbeat really but a nice tune either way.

Thrilled to see I'm not the only one.

My heart needed this, thank you. Wonderful piece.

Stu,

A shaped poem in which the typography really expresses the theme.

Nice one Stu,

I commuted for a while, until I realised that if I continued it would kill me, or I would kill myself.

My marriage was screwed already so that didn't impact..I did though always hit the vodka on the commute home.

Found myself hating those selfish bastards who threw themselves on the tracks delaying my arrival home, that was one thing that convinced me to leave the flock.

Thanks Stu,

David.
