Six young poets listed for £20,000 award

There are six poets on the shortlist for the £20,000 Edwin Morgan award for the best collection of poems, published or unpublished, by a Scottish poet aged 30 or under. The six are: Claire Askew, Penny Boxall, Sophie Collins, Harry Giles, Miriam Nash, and Stewart Sanderson. The biennial award will be presented to the winner by Christine De Luca at the Edinburgh international book festival on Thursday 18 August. Judges of the award for 2016 are Stewart Conn and Jackie Kay.
