I have a wish

A wish to sleep.

To sleep like no one ever did.

Like I have no gems to safeguard.

Like no one ever broke my heart.

Like this is eternity, no tomorrow

No petty sulkings, no sorrow.

Like I have no business, no priority.

Like no one is waiting with a morning tea.

Like I have been kissed by loved one.

Like I have no more races to run.

Like I have no dream to chase.

Like I have no stone to face.

Like I am free from all ties

And once I close, never open my eyes.

 

This sleep will wipe all my longings

And take me to a world I belong in.

 

There I will be a butterfly.

Free to rise up sky high.
