Mum's the word with Hollie McNish at the Roundhouse Last Word festival

Hollie McNish, Kate Tempest, and Rob Auton are among the highlights at the Last Word festival of spoken word, storytelling and live performance at the Roundhouse in London from 24 May-18 June.

Hollie McNish will be teaming up with fellow poets Lydia Towsey and Liv Torc in Mum’s the Word, aiming to entertain parents in need of culture, amusement and adult conversation.

Kate Tempest will be appearing in the already sold out Words First Live, a partnership between BBC Radio 1Xtra and the Roundhouse, which will also feature six young spoken word artists from across the UK.

Other hlghlights on a packed bill include Rob Auton, Mark Grist and Tim Clare, the poetry and improvised music of Tongue Fu with Chris Redmond, Kat Francois, Cecilia Knapp, a poetry slam final, masterclasses, and poetry collectives. Full details
