holiday in cambodia

roots like gnarled vomit

spew forth from the gore soaked earth

soiled glasses ground underfoot

the girls here are young

but i am careful

i see you coming from afar

hold your tiny body in my fingers

and crush you like an ant.

Joyti, You're forgiven. If there's a free t shirt and a sticker involved.... I'm in that gang! I'll bring the cheese grater.

cheers guys. i had a workmate who went to cambodia a few years back and encountered some pretty dark stuff there. men living in hotels (for fuck all money), hiring young girls every night (again, for no money) and drinking the place dry. its a big culture over there, or it was. tragic really.

joyti - you are bang on! he's the worst one.

Lynn, is he asking "whose gang you want to be in" please forgive me I couldn't resist. If I met him I would skin him alive with a potato peeler.

I have visions of a British holidaymaker, filled to the brim with alcohol, stains on his shirt and leering.

Thanks Stu! ;)

Exceptional, Stu. A crushing of innocence or at least its conversion into something sullied like the history therein. I was thinking of The Deer Hunter.
