Ledbury Poetry Festival organisers are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to co-ordinate a Festival window display competition for businesses in Ledbury in the run up to and the duration of the Festival 1 – 10 July 2016

This would involve liaising with businesses about the brief, organising a competition judge or judges, and taking photographs for the Festival’s website for a “People’s Choice” award

Ideally, the displays would be installed and judged before the Festival commences in order that the prize could be displayed in the window, and that the winner could be announced at the Festival Launch, 4.45pm Friday 1st July. The People’s Choice competition would run for the 10 days of the Festival.

This would suit somebody with retail experience, local knowledge, or a student wanting to gain experience in marketing and PR.

It would be an unpaid role, but there would be use of Festival resources, eg printing and computer, and full support will be given with website and social media. In the case of a student, a reference would be provided.
