Hello.

It is me.

I am writing to tell you

What not to do.

What not to think.

What to discard as anger.

What opportunities to take.

Which to avoid.

How to treat your wife.

And daughter.

How to mellow.

Relax.

Keep healthy.

Clean.

Well fed.

But not too well fed.

Not to drink.

Smoke.

Take drugs.

To appreciate what you have.

Let that be your drug.

Find within you.

What you seek without.

Exercise is important.

But nothing is as important as a healthy mind.

Continue listening to good music.

But allow others their folly.

Do not judge people for what they enjoy.

As others may judge you.

Do not mock the religious.

They have hope you do not have.

Do not dare waste

Your precious hours.

Staring at a screen.

Unless that screen.

Becomes a canvas.

Do not think no one wants to hear you.

You have as much right as any to speak.

But only as much right.

Not more.

Do not look down on people.

You are neither better nor worse than any man.

Do not feel angered that technology is moving on.

But do not forget the past.

Do not attempt too many things.

And end up mastering none.

Find what you excel at.

And breathe.

Stu,
An excellent example of what Shakespeare called `Keeping the middle of the road`
