i got those human blues

well i woke up this morning

and i turned on the news

its november the fourteenth

i got those human blues

think i’ll write me a poem

thats what i’m expected to do

sympathise with the families

tell them i feel it too

i got the human blues yeah

lord knows i got those

human blues

my daddy blames the niggers

my mummy blames the jews

i think i’ll blame the muslims

thats what they tell me to do

said its gotta be isis

popping bombs to subdue

death to the infadels motherfucker

with those human blues

i got the human blues yeah

lord knows i got those

human blues

just another hashtag

someone else to accuse

man were dodging the problem

were a virus with shoes

better call the watchmen

we need a judicial review

maybe bomb some more brown kids

give them the human blues

i got the human blues yeah

lord knows i got those

human blues

flatten all of the pakis

send the polish home too

man i blame the romanians

for all this hullabaloo

i say we bomb the koreans

thats fucking long overdue

lets nuke everybody

thats how we’ll push on through

i got the human blues yeah

lord knows i got those

human blues

thanks all. quite right, horrible day. my parents live in france and we have friends in paris who were about half a mile up the road. still, watching the main news channels is a lot like only reading every other word in a story. you can never get the whole picture. every time something like this happens i feel like crawling under a rock in shame. whoever is responsible cant be a human being like me. can they?

There are always platitudes to fall back on Stu. Or failsafe prejudices ; you've made all that very clear and it is depressing. The trouble is individual deaths leave a vacuum in the long years ahead long after those zealots have passed over, brushed over by the long broom of history. Ray
