David Andrew, Write Out Loud’s gig guide and poetry directory editor, will be launching his new collection, Ventriloquist’s Dummy, at a reading at Torriano Poets in London on 29 November.

David, who has been writing poetry for many years, with poems published in magazines such as The Rialto, Long Poem, Magma, PN Review, and Tears in the Fence,  will be joined at the reading by two other members of the Write Out Loud team – reviews editor Frances Spurrier, and news editor Greg Freeman.

David’s first collection, Through the Looking Glass, was published by Brimstone Press in 2010. Ventriloquist’s Dummy is published by Lapwing. The Torriano Poets reading with three Write Out Loud poets begins at 7.30pm. More details
