Last month’s Risk A Verse poetry night at the Red and Green club, in Milnsbridge, Huddersfield, saw new readers at a super session as Eddie Hughes took over the reins as compere. For this, his second month, on Thursday 23 July anyone and everyone is welcome to read their own or a published poem, short prose or sing a song they’ve written; or just listen and enjoy the breadth of talent beside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It begins at 7.30pm, and entry is free. More details and Map
