Brian Patten, John Hegley, and tribute to Hovis Presley at Live From Worktown festival

Brian Patten, Mandy Coe and John Hegley will be headlining Live From Worktown, Bolton’s festival of words, with the main festival events running in the week beginning 18 May. Live From Worktown also features a commemorative production of Dave Morgan's play 'Hovis in Wonderland', to mark the 10th anniversary of the death at 44 of Bolton wordsmith and humourist Hovis Presley. Other festival highlights include Jackie Hagan, and a special Write Out Loud night at Bolton Socialist Club featuring Louise Fazackerley and Steve Pottinger. More details
