Deadline nears for Mslexia poetry competitions

The Mslexia women’s poem and pamphlet competitions are open for entries, with a closing date of 15 June. Deryn Rees-Jones will be judging the £2,000 single poem competition, which has an etnry fee of £7 for up to three poems. All winning poems will be published in the September 2015 issue of Mslexia. More details. Amy Wack, pictured, poetry editor of Seren Books, will be judging the pamphlet competition, which has an entry fee of £20 for a collection of 18-20 poems of 20-24 pages. First prize is publication of the pamphlet by Seren Books, plus £250, 25 complimentary copies of the winning pamphlet and 10 per cent royalties from subsequent sales. More details
