Poetry Rivals 2009
No singing, no dancing…. Just the power of the pen!

Poetry Rivals 2009 is now in full swing and we have already received over 2000 entries!!

By sharing your poem with us you could find yourself performing in front of a panel of judges and a live audience, with the chance of winning a PUBLISHING CONTRACT with the UK’s largest publisher of new poetry! There is also a top of the range LAPTOP COMPUTER up for grabs for the under 18 winner.

The top 100 poets (50 x under 18s and 50 x over 18s) will be invited to our live Poetry Slam and winners from each age group will walk away with the prizes.

As they say, we are our own harshest critic so why not let us judge your words. You never know, the winner of Poetry Rivals 2009 could be YOU!

You can enter poetry rivals even if you live outside of the uk. We will be supplying a reader for people who make it through to the poetry slam final and can't attend.
