the felt tip pen leaked
fushia pink
on a carpet
that wasn't mine
in a place
that looked expensive
i walked away
and tried to look like the other people around
when they saw the stain
they were shocked
i had pink culprit hands
i had blushing cheeks
i had everything but guilt

I especially like the twist at the end:

I've done things like you describe in this at all stages of my life, and I'm nearly 28 now.
I have to say, guilt appears to grow as I get older.
I liked it.
