DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
WRITERS IN RESIDENCE
Development Officer

The Charles Causley Trust is seeking to appoint a Development Officer for the ‘Spark to Flame’ project.

Salary: £27,336 PA Contract: 9 Months fixed term with a further 9 months available subject to securing additional project funding by March 2016.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

To play a key role in the development and establishment of a strong activity and heritage programme and securing funding for The Charles Causley House project, Spark to Flame. This project is an inter-agency initiative supported by The Charles Causley Trust, Cornwall Council, Launceston Town Council, Literature Works and Plymouth University supported by Arts Council England. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is adept at managing a diverse workload with demonstrable project management experience in the literature and/or heritage development sectors, including the management of complex budgets and significant fundraising.

Writers in Residence

The Charles Causley Trust is looking for two writers in residence to support the Charles Causley’s House project, based in Launceston, Cornwall.

Two residencies are available, both on 3 month fixed term contracts of service.

Poet in Residence beginning 1st August 2015
Writer in Residence beginning 6th January 2016
Applications will be considered for both residencies, or either where stipulated. The Charles Causley Trust will award one of these residencies to a published poet and one to a writer specialising in a different genre.

Each resident will be paid a stipend of £3200 and accommodation is provided in Charles Causley’s House in Launceston.

The closing date for applications is Midnight on Sunday 10th May 2015. Interviews for the Development Officer role will be held on Monday 1st June 2015 in Charles Causley’s House, Launceston, Cornwall.  Interviews for Writer in Residence roles will be held on Tuesday 2nd June 2015 in Charles Causley’s House, Launceston, Cornwall.
