The sums of life

And fate
usually has her way
Working out the
Sums of life
On her crystal web abacus
Spinning futures
In ways
That to
The human eye
Appear unfathomable
Illogical
Non-sensical
But we can't see
Into the far distance
In the way that
She can
A tremor
Here
A flicker there
And everything turns
Inside out
Or upside down
Or that's how
It appears
To us
mere mortals
But the spiders
Of time
The arachnids of destiny
Their eyes
Are different
Their perception
Is altered
For them
Our paths
Are candle lit
By the stars
And things always
Work  themselves out
As they should
Whether we like it
Or
Not

Haha. Never a problem from you. For you to admire my work is very much a privilege

One major spider and then a horde of subjective arachnids? Many of these images just 'sing' with fresh and interesting imagery. I wonder if the 'thread' of your 'web' of thought got a bit 'tangled' or 'glued' (as the case may be.)

(I'm really sorry about this, but not enough to remove it. You know I admire your work so much.)
