Fait to Wait

Fate to Wait

I saw her, she walked away

I met her, she didn’t stay

I loved her, she couldn’t see

I asked her, she ran from me

Every girl is just the same

A pretty face with a strange name

They always want something more

Always find it out the door

It must be my fate to wait

For more time to concentrate

It must be my fate to wait

For a girl that I don’t hate

Is it the love?

Or is it the sex?

Is it my name?

Or is it more complex?

Either way it’s still a joke

To find a girl I don’t want to choke

Where the hell is a decent girl?

Is there even one in this god damn world?

Sure there’s thousands of fish in the sea

But in an ocean of stupidity

Tell me how to be happy

How to leave the ocean and fly free

Open up and spread your wings

Into the land of kings and queens

Past the clouds and stars above

Deep in the universe you’ll find true love

It must be my fate to wait

Until the day I leave this place

It has to be my fate to wait

For my liftoff into space
