Company

 

In finding time for company

I search for time within myself

Set the scene, I’m alone writing

Top bunk, correct posture, somewhere south

Every controversial moral befronts me

Any comment or behavior analyzed

To which school of thought do you belong?

Or are you just here to demoralize?

A fail-safe, task involving hobby

Time to think and weigh choices

Strange how with no company

I can still hear multiple voices

A blind leap from a carousel

Into her arms stolen away from me

On a bench anywhere in the world

A fallen leaf keeps me company
