Deadline nears for €10,000 Ballymaloe poetry competition

The Ballymaloe international poetry prize  – one of the biggest prizes in the world for a single poem  – is to be judged by Forward and Costa prize winner Michael Symmons Roberts. The prize is sponsored by Irish celebrity chef Darina Allen and her Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, and organised in association with The Moth magazine. There are four cash prizes for a single unpublished poem – €10,000 for the overall winner and three runner-up prizes of €1,000. The deadline is 31 December. More details
