'Deja Vu'
The voices told me, you better run you better hide.
For there is no escape, from the demon that lurks inside.
So take it with you, go far away, to pastures new.
It is for the best, the best for us, the demon and you.
Holding back emotions, as the years pass by.
Crying when I should have laughed, then laughing when I cry.
Bolting doors behind me, leaving the shadows in vain.
Were those people ever friends, what did they have to gain.
Dictating restrictions, demanding space, a daily script of orders.
An invasion of privacy, crossing the line, protecting cancerous borders.
Someone once asked, do androids dream of electric sheep.
But from a human mind, do images merge, to form dreams while we sleep.
So, are the nightmares still there, when we wake and start another day.
Or can we control them, for our own amusement, and let the demons drift away.
A voyeur in time, a subconscious decision, can bring out the psychotic in me, or you.
Some say they can see, what the future will bring, but the sceptics call it deja' vu.

Gary, I fully believe that we all have gifts of some form. I started having dreams that were perplexing, so i started to write them down. Sure enough, one or two of my dreams came true, and I had the evidence to know it was not deja vu. As I had written the dream down six months earlier.
