Word Wizards line up 32 performers for Buxton's Free Fringe

Buxton Word Wizards have lined up 16 events with 32 spoken word performers, including Helen Mort, Matt Merritt, and Josh Ekroy, as part of Buxton festival’s Free Fringe, starting on 19 July.  There are 50 free tickets for each event at the Buckingham hotel in Buxton, and they can only be collected at the venue from 6pm on the evening of the performance – you can’t pre-book tickets.

The lineup is:  Saturday 19 July, 7-7.45pm, Mike Alma and Mogs Morris;  8.15-9pm: Michelle Crosbie and Gary Longden. Sunday 20 July, 7-7.45pm, Jane Hughes and David Siddon;  8.15- 9pm,  Jackie Smallridge and Brendan Higgins. Monday 21 July, 7-7.45pm, Linda Goulden and Barbara Jagger; 8.15- 9pm, Janet Jenkins and Phil Binding. Tuesday 22 July, 7-7.45pm, Mark Rawlings and Howard Beaumont; 8.15-9pm, Matt Merritt and Josh Ekroy. Thursday 24 July, 7- 7.45pm, Liz Hall and Ben Wilkinson; 8.15-9pm , Helen Mort and Rob Stevens. Friday 25 July, 7-7.45pm, Alison Riley and Margaret Holbrook; 8.15-9pm, River Wolton, and Sally Goldsmith. Saturday 26 July, 7-7.45pm, Topm Wyre and Dwane Reads; 8.15-9pm, Gary Kerr and Tony Keeton. Sunday 27 July, 7-7.45pm, Carol Robson and Matt McAteer;  8.15-9pm, Cathy Grindrod and Jeremy Duffield.
