Last few days to vote for Saboteur awards

There are just a few days left to get your votes in for the indie lit Saboteur awards. The deadline is 25 May, with the winners announced on 31 May in Oxford. 

Hollie McNish, Kate Tempest, Sophia Walker, Lucy Ayton and Steve Nash are on the shortlist for best spoken word performer. Sophia Walker has also been nominated in the best spoken word show section, along with Rob Auton, Kirsten Luckins, Other Voices: Spoken Word Cabaret (dir. Fay Roberts), and Electronic Voice Phenomena.

The nominations for best spoken word night include Bang Said The Gun, Newcastle’s Jabba Jabba, and Leicester’s Shindig, while on the list for best innovative publisher are Burning Eye, Penned in the Margins, Nine Arches Press, Sidekick Books, and Red Squirrel Press.

The awards are organised by Sabotage Reviews, and the shortlists for a total of 12 categories were drawn up after voting by more than 600 people last month. You can read more about all the nominations here and vote for your winners here
