From Mersey to the poles: a one-day festival of poetry ideas

entry picture

The Poetry School is staging a “poetry PhD festival” – a one-day festival of poetry ideas – in London on Saturday 15 March. Subjects at Is there a Doctor in the House? include the Merseybeat poets, the “poem noir”, Irish women poets, Iranian poetry, the poetry of polar exploration, and much more. Eight PhD candidates will give speedy summaries of their studies, and students can select subjects that interest them in a day-long programme of mini-lectures and micro-workshops. More details
