Succour Magazine - Submissions Wanted

entry picture

Succour Magazine are now receiving submissions for the Autumn/Winter 2007/8 issue, which will be entitled The Future.

Potential contributors are invited to respond to the titles we suggest in as wilful or oblique a manner as they desire.

Succour is the UK’s most exciting journal of new fiction, poetry and art. We have editors in London, Manchester, Brighton, Exeter and Dublin who are committed to seeking out and publishing the very best new writing.

Succour also publishes new work from guest contributors. The current issue, True Stories, features Barry Gifford, Martyn Waites and David L. Hayles. The previous issue, The Obscene, featured Matt Thorne and Cathi Unsworth.

“Literary journals are so often staid and boring, concentrating solely on the work of some clique-or-other,” says Succour’s managing editor Anthony Banks. “With Succour, we want to put a journal out there that people can pick up, and know that they’re getting a true representation of the best new writing from around the country.”

We are also committed to promoting the best visual artists. If you would like to provide illustrations, art or photography please send us samples of your work as jpeg format files by Monday 21 August.
