I don't care about your religion,

I don't care about your clothes,

I don't care about your politics,

I care about YOU.

 

I don't care about your sexuality, disability,quirks,

you are a part of the human race.

I don't care about your race, colour or creed.

I don't care about your bank balance

or lack of it,

that would lead me to greed,

I care about YOU.

 

I don't care about your wars,

except they should cease,

I care about YOUR blood that bleeds,

the same colour as mine.

 

I don't care about your fancy house,

your council one bedroom flat,

your fox furs,

your rags,

I care about YOU.

 

It's your eyes I see,

the joy that shines through,

the sadness,

the twinkle,

the hopelessness,

the teardrops,

I care about YOU,

YOUR soul.
