Deadline nears for £1,000 Basil Bunting award

The deadline for the £1,000 Basil Bunting award competition, in memory of the celebrated poet from the north-east, is 30 September. The judge will be Sir Andrew Motion, who give a reading at the awards ceremony in Hexham on 29 November. More details
