The deadline is 21 September for the £1,000 Live Canon international poetry competition. Twenty shortlisted poems will be published in an anthology, and performed by the Live Canon ensemble, a group of professional actors and theatre artists who learn the poems and perform them from memory, at a prizegiving in November at Greenwich theatre in south-east London.
