March Gigs

Gigs for next week are as follows:

Saturday 28th February: Gaza Benefit for Cheeky Maggot Productions. This takes place at the Cockpit Theatre in Northwest London - see Notes for details. Show starts at 7.30.

Sunday 1st March: AD-LIBS ENTERTAINMENTS MUSIC, POETRY, SPOKEN WORD AND OPEN-MIC NIGHT: This is at the Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch - nearest tube is Old Street. £5 entry before 8.30 £7 thereafter. Show starts at 7:30.

Monday 2nd March: RAW POETRY. Workshop and Open-Mic at the Abbey Tavern in Kentish Town. Nearest tube Kentish Town Town. Workshop starts at 7.30, open-mic section at 9:30. Free entry.

Tuesday 3rd March: Y Tuesday at the Poetry Club - 3rd Anniversary. Will be making a late appearance at this one but the night itself starts at 7:30 at the Three Kings Pub in Clerkenwell. Nearest tube: Farringdon. Free entry.

Wednesday 4th March: DR Slam in Archangel, High Street Kensington. Doors open 8.00pm night starts at 9.00. Will be taking part in this slam in High Street Kensington. Free before 9.00 £5 thereafter. Nearest tube High Street Kensington.

Thursday 5th March: Rum Punch - open-mic and poetry/music showcase at Rudy's Revenge, near Holborn opposite the Shaftesbury Theatre where "Hairspray" is playing. Night starts at 7:30. £5/£4 entry.

Vintage Poison presents "Corrupted Ink", a new collection of poetry by Lucy Leagrave. I am guest-reading at this event so will be heading straight from my open-mic at Rum Punch to the Old Crown pub which is just round the corner. It's on the top floor and then night starts at 7:30. Free entry.

Nearest tube to both of thes gigs is Holborn.
