Doing comedy in this place and will need all the support I can muster. I have only been to this club once and the place is a literal bearpit. Comedian Sean Collins recalls doing a gig in Glasgow(it may well have been here) and points out that if you are good you don't need to deal with the hecklers - the audience do it for you. Some guy was repeatedly interrupting him and then this X-Man large Scotsman stood up and told the heckler "Listen, man, he's fucking funny so shut your mouth!" then turned round to Sean and went "Carry on." Oh my, I hate to think what they do to you when you're not so good...at any rate I will be taking the stage there come what may.
