Hi Deborah,
there's always so much depth in your words.
This is no exception. Very good.

funnily enough I was in Tescos earlier partaking of this very activity and feeling very 'drawn in' to the whole commercial idea to buy a card to say "I love you" concept. It's subtle blackmail really isn't it.
Loved your poem.

you're right- aisle after aisle. they may be taking over the world but they'll never take my soul! although i have settled for their 'value' brand of love a couple of times.

You are right Deborah, love is madness; but what can you buy in Tesco -can you buy love ?Some people think you can, and look where that's got us -the worst depression in a hundred years- or so a (Labour) government spokesman tells us.
