Sell-out success for Benjamin Zephaniah at Wenlock

entry picture

Tickets for Benjamin Zephaniah on Sunday 7 April at Wenlock poetry festival in Shropshire have sold out, organisers say. But there is still a feast of other poetry to enjoy as well, including Luke Wright, Owen Sheers, Carol Ann Duffy, Imtiaz Dharker, Sean Borodale, and Fiona Sampson. There are poetry workshops, Milton Keynes poet laureate Mark Niel will be hosting a Poems and Pints session at the George and Dragon, and there is a special event at Wenlock abbey on Sunday afternoon, The English Years of Robert Frost: 1912-1915, performed and read by Gabriel Woolf and Linda Hart.
