New for 2007… Ever wanted to see yourself in print?

To replace our usual poetry competition, this year we are inviting all budding poets to submit entries for our new Celebration of Poetry on the theme of this year’s Arts Festival,
“Chorlton – A Sense of Place”.

We are looking for poems or short prose pieces and will include as many pieces as we can in a special compilation to be published this summer, and sold in Chorlton and beyond. All the proceeds from this will be used to support future Festivals.

This is not limited to people who live in the area and everyone who submits will be invited to perform their work at our Celebration of Poetry evening on Saturday 19 May.

All entries must be submitted by Monday 14 May and must include your name, address, e-mail address (if you have one), contact number and age, if you are under 18.
