Ploughing through the snow? Write Out Loud at Middleton on Sunday

entry picture

Snow is forecast to lie heavy over this weekend. But the cold didn’t deter regulars at Write Out Loud Middleton last month, and there is no reason to think it will on Sunday, 24 March either. New mum Gemma Lees is back as compere, and Dermot Glennon is the guest poet. Entry is a £2 donation at the Ring O’Bells, St Leonards Square, Middleton, at 7pm. More details

Well it might deter me this weekend as we are currently lying a foot deep under the white stuff here, and more heavy snow forecast tomorrow. It's being in Yorkshire that does it. In the Pennines. In the snow. Brr!
