the winter seeds

 

have been planted amongst the snow

amongst the hail under the ice

amongst the soil winter seeds are

being planted of love that they

may spread out like a carpet

among the people under their

feet lifting them up lightening

their load softening their tread

winter seeds are being planted

in time for spring when they will

rise up among the people and

reach out to make them smile
