What's the worst you can come up with? How to win the anti-slam

entry picture

A slam with a difference is staging an Anti-Valentine’s Day Special tonight, Friday 15 February, where the poet with the lowest score wins. Judges Niall O’Sullivan, Kat Francois, and Adam Kammerling are looking for the worst effort – poetry that is “hilariously terrible, laugh-out-loud embarrassing, entertainingly cringe worthy. Poetry so bad it transcends quality… and becomes genius”. Competitors at the Gallery café, 21 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green, east London will be Emma Jones, Charlie Dupre,  Amy Acre, Amy McAllister, Stephanie Dogfoot, Peter Hayhoe, Katie Bonna, Keith Jarrett, Superbard, and Paul Cree. Time: 7.30pm. Tickets: £5/£4 on the door. More details and Map
