Barclay's in Bletchley-sliding doors shut on 85 year old !

After a goodwill errand for his snow struck neighbours,

To a Barclay's in Bletchley on a walking frame Bert labours.

Retired 85 year old navy chef Bert Lock,

Sat at home alone in a state of shock.

On leaving the branch faulty sliding doors left him with a fractured hand.

They crushed him and on the floor in a heap he did land.

"Turn the doors off they are not working,"he heard the staff shout.

Engineers have since been working on the doors  sorting them out.

This happened last week and no appology as yet,

"If you want any help or financial assistance you'll have to sue us,"was all he could get.

Seams about par for the course for Barclays. Plenty of ambulance chasing firms out there would be keen to help Bert.
Good poem for bringing people's attention to injustice
