Feeling and Reason

 

 

     I’m not a great investor in Higgs Bosen,

I know the particle exists – but then,

Why should it not for,

I am at least an investor in God!

 

A particle is all it is,

Just a particle,

But when you wonder at

All creation like a painted

Picture by genius an artist;

Each particle is not what you see,

 

     Discovering God is fine,

He ‘is’ all around,

Though taking apart

Piece by piece each limb,

               Is not truly and ethical claim,

And it’s strange that,

We as human are needy

In understanding when life

Be in ‘Our’ hands,-

     Just, to justify death;

For ‘The Man’ keeps secrets

That to ‘we’ are dangerous;

     Are we now to dismember

Like life gone before?

 

2.

 

     I see a moon,

I see a bright shining moon

Reflecting the Sun and I know

Where the Sun is by

Feeling and reason,

And it’s not just collections

Of tiny a particle,

I see the Moon from the Sun,

I see the Sun from the Moon,

 

     I see my Son beneath

This wet, rain soaked roof,

I see my wife here too

And by the same

Feeling and reason,

Despite all past mistakes,

I have a knowing of love,

     I have a knowing of love

From compassionate a God,

And I know The Man exists –

Quiet with wisdom.

 

3.

 

     The noise we make

Below dimly lit sky

Whilst charging our arms,

     The cacophony raging –

Finding places to go

These distractions we place

Within life here on Earth –

The explained of phenomena

Deeming man be a King,

     Are not necessarily so,

For ‘All and He’

Through feeling and reason,

Exist on this world –

Both within and without,

 

     Taking all things considered,

I am not a particle man,

Not a thing just discovered

We can place upon names,

Through feeling and reason

With equal consent,

Like The Sun and The Moon

I know I exist as do all,

And I know this power of love.
