Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

My alter ego...

The naive girl, cautious and fierce

The one with feline eyes

The one with shadowy corners

The one that battles day to day perceiving the voice of the Messiah

The one that still dreams of parental love that borders on idolatry

The jubilant light of day

The one that writes fantasies in the orphanhood of a sonnet

turning out nostalgic fondness hoping that they transcend beyond the skies

I’m not afraid of looking in the mirror, because my feelings are crystalline

Because my profiles are equal, I use no disguises

My lineage makes me brave in faith of a coward

and tall in the morning dawn, speaking to the flowers isolates my fears

            I'm all

                        I'm nothing

                                     I'm the solitary station

I am the rose that flaunts in the morning

I don’t want more than what I am

I am like I am
