Ann Drysdale (pictured, with prop), Peter Wyton, and a group of Gloucestershire poets called the Poetry Factory will be appearing at Waterstones Cheltenham on Saturday 4 August between 11am and 1pm. There will also be an open mic section for local poets to read their work.

Ann Drysdale, pictured, is an acclaimed poet, non-fiction writer and journalist. Peter Wyton’s finely crafted performance poetry has gained him a huge following. The Poetry Factory features David Clarke, whose Flarestack competition-winning pamphlet Gaud has just been published - the Flarestack launch is tonight, in Birmingham; Cheltenham Poetry Society’s chairman, Sharon Larkin; the director of Cheltenham Poetry Festival, Anna Saunders, and Philip Rush, Avril Staple and Chaucer Cameron.  The event has been organised by Cheltenham Poetry Festival.
