Flax, the publishing imprint of Lancaster's Litfest, is looking for the best new fiction from the North West of England for Flax017.  Please send up to 1200 words. These can comprise of several short fictions, a complete short story, or an extract of a longer work. There is no criteria for theme or genre.

Submissions are welcome between 14 Dec 2008 and 14 Jan 2009. Email submissions only. Send work as a single attachment, with your name in the footer and as the title of the Word document. Submissions to be double-spaced and each page numbered. Use fiction submission for the subject line of the email, and send to flaxbooks@litfest.org
