Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

It's Begun

                                      It’s Begun

                Schizophrenics are said to believe

All of ‘this’ is wrong,

They use just a little bit more of mass

But it’s not difficult to

Understand where they’re coming from,

Take a look around,

Is this existence how you would

Have written life?

The spite

Moves back and forth,

Back and forth between two

Opposing poles

And we love,

But we hate,

Hate to love,

Love to hate – for hate,

Becomes the stronger energy.

We spite ourselves as a

Collective and as individuals –

The distractions losing us within

A cacophony of noise,

     We don’t see

What we are doing to each

Because we play the care

Game without a care in

The world, and only,

When falling do we realize

Mistakes but by then,

All love has turned to hate,

     Take a look around

And see the waste of Planet Earth,

Then tell yourself through the mirror

Of projection this is how it’s meant

To be.

     Your Earth is die-ing,

And you just don’t know what

To do,

But you play your part anyway

For fear upon the truth,

And when you realize the act you

Have become you’ll scream

Take it all away,

Take it all away

Take it all away.

2.

We now stand before a precipice –

A chasm holding all dishonour as

We kid ourselves the innocence

Of being born, and we’re torn,

We’re torn between the

Teachings of a glut while

Hoping recognition as a being

Comes today,

But the fail be the warnings

We ignored.

…………The Elephant

Has a memory of lush pastures

And emotion,

So do I,

So do I and many

Within the deepest of

Sub-conscience,

But the plentiful

Are seizing more and

More and more

As you drive your car

Till death,

And I’m begging you open

Eyes before the road

We have laid down;

And acknowledge all the past

You ‘took,’ and the future you ‘destroyed.’
