Linger.

The tightest acceptable squeeze,

I admire those who deny it,

But wonder who they are trying to please.

For those that deny it who,

are me and not you,

just want a good friend.

But get giddy and excited,

when thoughts are invited.

Encouraged.

It was worth the wait

and was hard to disperse.

Life continues,

far from the fairytale in my head.

But I will keep it there.
