Poets on Write Out Loud often have plenty to say on the topics of the day. Well Versed, the weekly poetry column of the daily socialist newspaper Morning Star, is looking for submissions from new as well as from established poets of work that need not be overtly political, although "political poetry", however loosely defined, is preferred. Poems should be short to medium in length. Poets who have featured recently include Keith Armstrong, Ian Duhig, Mark Niel, Luke Wright, Michael Horovitz, and Sam Riviere. Submissions, with biographical information, should be sent to Jody Porter at wveditor@gmail.com.
