Henry Raby's fast-forward to the future

entry picture

Bring cushions, mats, blankets, pillows and sleeping bags: that’s the message when punk poet Henry Raby invites you to write a letter to your future self. The journey to the future takes place on 1 and 2 February at Leeds University, when Raby performs his own take on the trip with poems ranging from comics, cartoons and crayons to teenage crushes, puberty and hangovers, plus the chance for the audience to share their own stories and memories. Letter To The Man (from the boy) begins at 7.30pm, and runs for 70-80 minutes. The venue:  Studio 3, part of the Workshop theatre on the University of Leeds campus, just down from the Parkinson Steps, opposite the Arnold Ziff Building. Entry is free, but space is limited.
