Mersey poet memories: Freda Davis at Sowerby Bridge

A writer whose first work was published in a Liverpool magazine in 1963 alongside Roger McGough and Brian Patten is guest poet at Puzzle Hall Poets open mic night at Sowerby Bridge on Monday 7 November. Freda Davis, whose feminist poetry has also appeared in Spare Rib, and whose poems are inspired by nature and the seasons, mind and body, pagan and  feminist themes, is also co-founder of the Puzzle Hall Poets, who meet at the Puzzle Hall Inn, Holling Mill Lane, Sowerby Bridge.
