Our Guest Poet

‘Clare Kirwan’

Clare is a Multi-award winning poet.  She has won Slams and prestigious written competitions. Always entertaining, from the fantastically humorous to sometimes sadly serious via the unexpected.   Homelessness, Tinnitus, Moses, Bond Villains, Darth Vader and radiators.  Clare describes herself as quirky- brilliant would be another word!

Our Guest Musician

‘Carl Allan’

The word multi-talented fits Carl well.   Last time I saw him play, he was on bongo drums before moving to the guitar- until someone threw him a harmonica lol. He was fantastic! one person said he was known as the Huyton Minstrel.   All that was before I heard his voice (quality) and his songs; Carl’s songs stayed with me long after the night.  But that is how excellent song writers get you.
